Who We Are
gloomy.io is operated by a sole proprietor. When these terms say "we", "us" or "gloomy.io", that's who they mean. When they say "you", that's you, the gloomy person reading this.
The Service
gloomy.io is a telephone hotline (1-978-666-0664, access code 666) and a website. Call in for gloomy facts, a gloomy weather forecast, vaporwave hold music, a truth coherence score, or to leave a voice message. Registered users get the same on the web, plus the noise machine.
It is an art project. It is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind, and it may be gloomy, unavailable, or gone at any time. Please don't rely on it for anything that matters. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.
Your Account
- Keep your password to yourself. What happens under your login is on you.
- One account per gloomy person. Don't register a phone number that isn't yours.
- You can delete your account and everything with it by contacting us. No questions asked.
Acceptable Use
Don't abuse the hotline, the website, or the people who might hear your voice message. No harassment, no illegal content, no attempts to break in or flood the line. If you do, we will remove your account, block your number, or both, without notice.
Voice Messages
If you leave a message (option 8), you're giving us permission to keep it and, if it's amusing and doesn't reveal who you are, to post it on the site. Messages that reveal your identity are never posted. Recordings may be deleted at any time.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use gloomy.io after that means you're fine with the new terms.
